Welcome to the FEMP Lights online lighting course presented by the Office of Federal Energy Management Program. This course is divided into a series of three online, self-paced courses allowing students to complete materials according to their own schedule. You can register individually for each of the courses, allowing you to choose the course that best suites your current lighting education needs.

FEMP Lights I: Issues
This first course in the three course series presents an overview of lighting design and visual comfort issues, industry standards for lighting system performance, and calculation tools.

FEMP Lights II: Technology
This second course in the three course series covers lighting technologies, energy consumption and maintenance issues, and a new module on daylighting.

FEMP Lights III: Projects
This third and final course in the three course series discusses energy efficient lighting design strategies and addresses project management issues.

We are currently not offering any classes.
If you are interested in taking any of the three courses, please send us an email at teach@h-m-g.com to put you on a waiting list for the next session.
